1. Scope and Acceptance

This Privacy Policy and Terms of Use (together, "Terms") govern your access to and use of Falsyn, including the mobile application, related APIs, and the website operated by InnerStudios ("we," "us," and "our"). By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or otherwise using Falsyn, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use Falsyn. You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.

2. What Falsyn Does

Falsyn is an interruption-based awareness app. It sends notifications based on your chosen timing/frequency settings and, when opened, starts a short awareness session flow.

3. Information We Process

We process only the information required to operate the service and subscriptions: account identity data (such as email, username, authentication provider identifiers), authentication/security data (tokens, login/session controls), notification settings and push state (notification enabled status, push token, timezone, selected windows), and subscription/purchase records needed to apply plans and entitlement status.

For app behavior analytics, our core product telemetry is centered on notification and session state (for example: scheduled, sent, opened, ignored, session start/end, duration, and assigned task metadata). We do not sell personal data.

4. How We Use Information

We use information to: (a) create and secure your account; (b) deliver notifications and in-app functionality; (c) maintain subscription status and billing records; (d) generate product reports visible to you (such as interruption/open/ignore aggregates and session duration summaries); (e) detect abuse, fraud, and service misuse; and (f) comply with legal obligations.

5. Data Sharing and Sale

We do not sell your personal data. We do not rent your personal data. We may share limited data with infrastructure, communications, authentication, and payment processors strictly as needed to operate Falsyn, secure accounts, and process subscriptions.

We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, InnerStudios, or the public.

6. Data Retention and Security

We retain data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Your Choices

You can manage key in-app preferences (including notification windows, notification enabled/disabled state, language, and subscription actions) from the app settings. You may request account-related privacy assistance by contacting us.

Some rights may vary by jurisdiction (for example, access, correction, deletion, or objection rights). We will process valid requests in accordance with applicable law.

8. Subscription, Billing, and No Refund Policy

Paid features are offered through platform billing providers (such as Apple App Store and/or Google Play) and associated billing processors. Pricing, taxes, and renewal terms are shown at purchase time.

ALL PURCHASES ARE FINAL. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FALSYN OPERATES A STRICT NO-REFUND POLICY, INCLUDING FOR PARTIAL BILLING PERIODS, UNUSED TIME, OR CHANGE OF MIND. If a refund is legally required in your jurisdiction, that requirement will control only to the minimum extent required.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service integrity, reverse engineer protected components beyond what law allows, or use Falsyn in violation of applicable law. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

10. Health and Wellness Disclaimer

Falsyn provides habit and awareness support features only. It is not medical, psychiatric, or therapeutic advice, and is not a substitute for professional care. If you are in crisis or may harm yourself or others, contact local emergency services immediately.

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Falsyn is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InnerStudios will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of Falsyn.

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless InnerStudios and its affiliates, officers, team members, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of Falsyn, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe there is abuse, security risk, legal non-compliance, or violation of these Terms. Provisions that by nature should survive termination (including payment, limitation of liability, and indemnity) will survive.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to InnerStudios, excluding conflict of law rules, unless mandatory local consumer law requires otherwise.
